Can we call you “Backs”? No ... Ok.
With all the exciting things happening with our campaign, we hardly have time to play, so let’s play here a bit.
We are proud to announce our first Stretchgoal:
If we will hit $500M in funds, we will reproduce the movie Inception to fit 2018, when magical spinning tops truly exist!
*We did the math and the new version will take ~34 hours and if we’ll use LIMBO WR it might take more than 10 days.
Now Seriously
We don’t really believe in stretchgoals, but being funded more than 750% so far, enables us to stay ahead of schedule and improve the product.
We have a new idea of how we can redesign the mechanism of the tip:
It's all about the tip
This will improve the stability of the spin, especially on non-perfect surfaces. Another advantage of the improved tip is that when you’ll drop LIMBO from a distance, the suspension will cushion the drop and prevent damage to the surface and the bearing ball.
We are still working on it and it will take a few more weeks till all tests are completed, but it does look promising.
*This new feature will not(!) delay the delivery time in any way.

WOW, what a week, what a start. If you ever consider launching a Kickstarter campaign and breaking an official GWR (GUINNESS WORLD RECORD), Get ready for many sleepless nights and lots of coffee.
In this update, we will do our best to clarify unclear points regrading LIMBO and the campaign.
Breaking the GWR
On June 18th, at 5:45 PM, we started spinning six special LIMBOs that were built especially for the GWR. we call them LIMBO WR. 27 Hours, 9 Minutes and 24 seconds later we broke the official GUINNESS WORLD RECORD for “Longest-running mechanical spinning top”. The previous record was 24:35:15 only :)
We voluntarily stopped the top when we did because spinning it for 40 hours was too logistically complicated (with all the witnesses, location tricks and cameramen we needed to have), but LIMBO WR can actually spin for more than 40 hours. Maybe sometime in the future, we will rebreak our own record (Strechgoal?)!
Our vision for the LIMBO WR kit is to provide the experience of the GUINNESS WORLD RECORD at your own environment. it's perfect for special events when you feel the need to amaze your surrounding.
In addition to the WR mechanism, you will also receive a standard rechargeable mechanism for everyday use that works with the same casing - so you can enjoy both worlds.
The kit includes:
One Titanium top (the casing)
One WR mechanism
One standard mechanism (with rechargeable battery)
4 non-rechargeable batteries (for the WR mecanism)
One USB cable
One LIMBO base - color of choice
*LIMBO WR can spin for more than 40 hours, so you can rebreak our record :)

The LIMBO Base
We feel like we haven't explained the advantages of the LIMBO base enough, so we'll use this opportunity to do so.
1. Perfect experience. The base is designed especially for LIMBO, the surface has the right amount of friction that helps LIMBO spin beautifully and doesn't damage the tip.
2. Prevents LIMBO from getting lost. The base is the home of your LIMBO, without the base, LIMBO will run around your table and won't find its place.
3. Keep LIMBO where you want it. Sadly, most tables are not perfectly balanced :( and after a few minutes, LIMBO will find itself spinning on the floor. It's actually pretty cool but not very recommended.
New rewards and add-ons
We opened new reward tiers for multiple LIMBOs. We can't cover all options so if you want combos that aren't available you can add the amount of the add-ons you like. the new tiers and the add-ons are based on the early-bird prices, so you get more value for less money.
To change your pledge you can always hit the "Manage" button at the top of the KS page and select a different one.
To add more goods, you can just add the needed amount: we will use Backerkit to help you manage your order once the campaign is over.
